Independent advice on political violence and terrorism cover, before the policy is bought
Most organisations buy political violence and terrorism cover without ever seeing an assessment of what they are exposed to. The requirement is set by a lender, a template or last year's renewal. ARCIS puts an independent, evidence-based assessment in front of that decision.
The wording decides the claim, not the peril name. The market builds its policies from two principal base forms, which name broadly the same perils and define them differently. Two quotes offering the same named cover at the same level are not necessarily the same cover.
What ARCIS does · five stages, before your cover goes to market
01 · Intake
We establish what is being insured, where, when, and what it is worth, together with your existing cover and the wording behind it.
02 · Plot
Your locations are plotted against live incident and threat data, so exposure is seen rather than assumed.
03 · Intelligence report
We assess which perils are genuinely live at each location, with stated confidence, and how each would be treated under the market's principal forms.
04 · Proposal
We specify the cover: which form, which level, which perils, what structure and limits, and which wording conditions, exclusions and warranties to scrutinise.
05 · To market
Your existing broker or insurer takes the brief out and secures terms. We do not place your risk.
How we are paid
A fixed fee, agreed before we start. No commission. Nothing contingent on what you buy, or on whether you buy at all. We are not a broker, we do not place risk, and we hold no financial interest in the outcome. If our assessment is that your existing cover is adequate, we have no reason not to say so.
What you receive
A Pre-Placement Intelligence Report: your exposure, location by location, with every assessment attributed and confidence-rated. Inference is never presented as fact. Then a cover proposal your broker can take to market as it stands.
